Carol, I’ve always thought your newsletter is unique. You address issues that few others on Substack are talking about. It’s almost like everyone else is in a different world. Homelessness is becoming alarmingly prevalent, even in so-called ‘affluent’ countries, and individual solutions just aren’t enough. I hope that people like Musk and Trump, with their innovative minds, can help find a workable solution. Even though they’ve never experienced life on the streets, maybe they could find a way to make it profitable—if that’s what it takes to motivate them to take action.
Neera, thank you for your opinion. If the politions continue to ignore the problem as it gets worse, then we all are going to suffer as a nation. But I believe we all can make a difference by helping just one homeless person…because soon the “ones” can turn in to thousandths. In constrast, adding just one Arthur to Arthur Circle can turn to thousandths…in time.
