You Are Never Lonely if You Like the Person You Are Alone With
Loneliness is a ticket to poor health and half of the country claims to be lonely people. Why?
It seems wherever you go, people are always in a rush. There is barely enough time to carry on a decent conversation with people, because they are so much in a hurry to go someplace or have something to do.
Yet, the majority of the population claim to be lonely. There is so much to do in this world, but we want to share our lives with like-minded people if we can find them. It’s hard nowadays. Because no one trust anyone anymore it seems.
So, we go to social media to find our friends. It’s not so bad, if you know how and wish to meet up and share your feelings about what you’re interested in. I find joy in meeting online friends and sharing my ideas.
You Don’t Have to be Lonely
But first, you must love yourself and appreciate the life you’ve been given. There are so many free things to take advantage of that are available in nature. Just being able to flow with the changing seasons and wish for rain is a gift in itself. We must open our minds up to explore life and find our own creativity.
The Secret Cure to Loneliness
Keep busy! If anyone were to ask me, I would say the key to not be lonely is to enjoy your own company. Find joy in the quiet moments, early morning coffee or tea, maybe watching the sunrise or listening to the birds sing.
Then we have access to all kinds of reading material, videos, music, crafts…free education. There is so much to choose from, but you have to put yourself out there and go for it. There’s no time to be lonely if you are busy all the time. Right??
Solitude can be a space where one can discover the beauty of self-reflection and the power of self-love. As I’ve journeyed through life’s ups and downs, I appreciate my alone time more today than ever before. I’ve learned to cherish those quiet moments to grow in ways I never thought possible.
I’m now living in my mid-seventies and contrary to what most people think, I’m never lonely because I’m always active doing something, I never had time to do in my younger life.
I like my life and I look forward to adventuring to unknown territory. To me, that’s what life is all about living. Express yourself. Show compassion and concern for others.
Have a pet to take care of. They will always be there for you to talk to and love on unconditionally.

I wonder why people always escape the solitude to be in the company of others more often than not 🤔
All very true, Carol.
