Comfortable Camper Van Living in 75 Square Feet Requires Great Organizational Skills
I live in 75 square feet and love it.
Here is a picture taken of my home taken 4 months ago. I’ve lived in this same spot since March 14, 2022 and I love it. I sleep, eat, write, cook, talk on the phone, in 75 square feet. My homemade 6” memory foam mattress is where I write every morning in my journal, make my daily to do lists, and get educated on you-tube tutorials.
I’ve discovered I learn best when I first wake up in t he morning. Usually I begin my day listening to audible books or making phone calls.
I Keep It Simple
Near my bed sits a charger for cell hones, tablets, lights, laptop a USB speaker and notebook, pen, pencil and highlighter. I tend to be twice more productive using this strategy. The trick is to be well organized.
I’d rather not get out of bed and search for writing tools, books or whatever I need. I prefer to jump right into the flow of my intentions and start creating.
I keep all my cooking tools, things like dishes, pots, pans, silverware, cups and glasses all in one cabinet. I have minimal of these items to reduce clutter in 75 square feet of living space.
As a result, there are less dishes to wash, less cleaning up to do and more time for me to spend writing my blog posts.
I Love This Lifestyle!
With our paperless society, I can store books, PDF’s, images, documents all on my computer for easy access, all while working in bed or sitting at my desk. Thanks to technology helping me become more organized.
Should I ever get claustrophobic, I can sit outside on my patio, which I often do, to feel at home under the big blue sky, or watching it rain.
While camping and traveling, I usually can’t stay more than two weeks in one place because the state parks set limits.
It’s all good with me while living in a small space because I get to see new places and scenes.
When the weather is nice, I will set up outdoors and write on my novel or work on my newsletter. It’s a good feeling to cook over an open fire while creating content and enjoying the simple things in life.
It’s much easier to live my best life having less to manage and having more time to create.
Thanks for reading!
